As I sit here and wonder how we went from a pair of chickens to well over 200, I wonder how did it happen!!!! Well it just have to be love. I love the animals, the competition and the people in this area of showing. I used to show dogs, but the clicks were just too much. No one wants to share secrets or help out novices in the hobby. But in poultry showing there is a large family. Oh yes there are some people (not many) that act like they are showing gold, or seem to think they know it all, but not that many. I am very competitive, but to see one of my friends beat me just warms my heart. My children have now become shadows of their mom's love of chickens. I am so excited when I see one of them win. I hope that this passion goes on forever!!!!!
